Built by recruiters who understand the work behind the title.

4Recruiting is a specialist recruitment agency for Seed to Series D startups, built from years of technical recruiting across US and international markets.

Chapter one

Most hiring teams don’t love recruiters. We built 4Recruiting to change what working with one feels like.

For six years, I worked closely with US startups, helping them build teams in the US and internationally.

Many hiring managers came into the process already frustrated with recruiting.

Too many irrelevant profiles.

Recruiters who did not really understand the role.

Interview time spent discovering things that should have been caught earlier.

Agency fees that felt disconnected from the value being delivered.

But I also saw what happened when recruiting was done well.

Hiring managers who had been skeptical of recruiters told me I had changed the way they thought about recruiting altogether. Instead of adding another layer of process, good recruiting removed friction — helping teams make decisions faster, protect their time and grow without lowering the hiring bar.

That taught me something important:

Great recruiters do exist. There just aren’t enough of them.

At the same time, I was building a recruiting school and working closely with experienced recruiters who were developing exactly the skills I knew startups needed — technical understanding, sourcing depth, candidate assessment, communication and full-cycle ownership.

On one side were startups that needed to hire quickly, often across several markets.

On the other were strong senior recruiters I already knew and had worked with closely.

4Recruiting was created to bring those two sides together.

Today, we help Seed to Series D startups turn recruiting from a time-consuming source of friction into a faster, more focused hiring process — in the US and wherever the right talent happens to be.

Good recruiting should give your team time back — not create more work for it.

Chapter two

The network came before the agency.

Years of teaching, mentoring and working alongside experienced recruiters gave me something most agencies have to build from scratch: a community of people whose judgment and work I already knew.

4Recruiting grew from that foundation.

Chapter four

How we work as one team

The recruiter closest to the market leads the day-to-day work, but candidate quality is not left to individual interpretation.

Shared assessment standard

Every search is grounded in the same approach to technical depth, communication, ownership, company match and profile integrity.

Role-specific expertise

The recruiter with the strongest context for the role and talent market leads the day-to-day search and candidate relationship.

Founder involvement

I stay involved in search calibration, critical candidate-quality decisions and recalibration when the market or hiring criteria require a trade-off.

The next chapter

The next chapter is the one we build with our clients.

We bring the same shared standards, specialist expertise and close collaboration to every client — helping build the teams behind what comes next.

If we are not the right partner, we will tell you directly.
